What to see in Fuerteventura from north to south

In this article we will tell you all, but really all the things to see in Fuerteventura, where to sleep, where to eat and some tips for organizing the trip.

During the winter of 2021 many of our friends moved to Fuerteventura for a few months and we must admit that we really envied them!

So as soon as we had the chance we bought a one way ticket to this beautiful island and after three weeks we are ready to tell you what to see in Fuerteventura .

We visited the island very slowly, but it is possible to see Fuerteventura in 7 days.

Fuerteventura is a volcanic, arid, dusty and windy island, but its being so wild makes it very fascinating.

And now let’s start from the north and go all the way south to discover Fuerteventura.

FUERTEVENTURA WHAT TO SEE: THE UNMISSABLE PLACES

Corralejo

Corralejo is one of the best known places in Fuerteventura, a seaside village where you can take boats for excursions and the ferry to Lanzarote.

Right here is one of the places that most made us fall in love, the Natural Park of the Dunes of Corralejo. The wonder of this desert area that plunges into the sea cannot be described.

Every day the landscape changes modified by the wind. We kept coming back because walking on the dunes at sunset is pure magic.

Take the road that crosses them by car and stop where your instinct tells you.

Another unmissable area is the Playa del Bajo de la Burra also known as popcorn beach, so called for the particularity of the corals that cover the beach, white and in the shape of popcorn.
